Life Star is on the scene in response to motor vehicle accident versus a pole in front of 41 Sandy Beach Road on Crystal Lake in Ellington. Ellington police report that two people were involved in the accident, at least one of them was a teenager. The accident came into Ellington police just before 2:30 earlier this morning. The Crystal Lake Fire Department, Ellington Ambulance and Johnson paramedic responded to the scene, as well as CL&P who will tend to down wires. More information as it comes in.

Teen Charged with Murder in New Haven
New Haven Police have charged a city man with murder in connection with a fatal shooting Friday night on Third Street. Police say Darius Jackson, 18, shot Michael Holland, 19, of New Have in the chest. Holland was found with a gunshot wound around 7:45 p.m. and died a short time later, said authorities.
